Ethics in politics

Politics with no ethics is – at the very least – dirty.

Some politicians will go down to the annals of history in a way that their descendants wouldn't want to have an association with. When there are floods and other calamitous events, some public officials (either local or national) would provide canned/relief goods with packaging bearing their faces and names.

When there are no calamities, these politicians would distribute school bags and/or kubaton key chains, again, with their faces and names on it. These were procured by using public funds. That is pure politicking and on a very dirty level at that. I. Just. Hate. It. We should hate it.

I have never been so excited for the upcoming 2013 elections. And this time, I will participate. I will vote and campaign not for a politician... but for a public servant.
