On daydreaming

My favorite part is when we were daydreaming of good lives ahead, and we would excite ourselves with what actually were fictions of our mind. -- Mordsith
Something like... (short-term goals pa lang 'to!):

This will be the work environment.

Cuba libre, while working. Or not.
A high-speed Wi-Fi connection while working... at the beach, of course.

I mean, who wouldn't want an iPad, di ba?

And for the work-life balance, maybe this one will do?
They have an ATV circuit at Bora, right?

Good thing about daydreaming is that it's free... and there is the possibility that they might come true.

PS: Medium-term goal is you take away the work variable out of the equation. :-)

Superman, Son Goku, and The Hulk

A few days ago, I asked myself who the strongest fictional character is. Three names came into my mind: Superman, Son Goku, and The Hulk (hence, the title). I am not a comic geek, so I hope you'd forgive me if I present some not-so-accurate information.

Superman. The guy was actually my first choice. Hell, with his superhuman strength, I am sure he probably would have been the first choice of most of you if you were asked the same question. He can lift super heavy objects, leap from buildings, circumnavigate the world in seconds (whoa!), dodge bullets, and just recently, I have read that he sacrificed his life so he can power the sun in our system. Yes, he is actually the source of sun's energy in that comics series.

Son Goku. I really don't have much info on Son Goku but if you watch Dragon Ball Z, you know why he is on my Top 3. Well, it's like this: He also have all those super powers of Superman. He can fly. He moves so fast. He is strong. And he can be anywhere in the universe in a blink of an eye. Also, he can destroy any planet if he wants to.

The Hulk. E lalong wala akong kwento dito, hehehe. But I know that The Hulk's strength knows no limits -- the madder he gets, the stronger he becomes (anger = strength). Also, unlike Superman who has kryptonite as his limitation, The Hulk has no weakness. So, from that aspect alone, I'd say he might even beat Superman in a duel.

So, Who is the strongest of them all? I don't know. Superman is the source of sun's energy, Son Goku can destroy planets at will, and The Hulk's strength has no clear limitation. So, you tell me.

PS: The truth is, I wanted to write something about the "strongest person" I know, but I decided not to go with it because I might end up being super-emotional, hehehe. Hang on in there, be strong, and kick some arse from time to time. :-)

Sunday Laughs

I still can't find that attitude to make my posting/writing more regular. Yo see, I've been trying (since grade school, if I may add) to hone my writing skills through, well, frequent writing but it seems I cannot accomplish any of the two (the frequent writing and the honing part).

For example, I have this great (I guess?) idea about the relation of genetics, human capability, and some social issues but I cannot find the urge to write them. I did discuss this with my bro (who writes software for a hobby!!!) but after that, I just cannot put them into concrete, readable article. Why is that?

And now, instead of trying, attempting to write a sensible article, I am ranting (rant na 'to peksman!) and posting these pics... and I hope these will make you laugh, kahit konti. :-)

Happy weekend, everyone!
