ConAss is self-serving. How can the proponents of HR 1109 argue otherwise? If the Constitution needs revision, let it be handled by a Constitutional Convention... and let that happen after the 2010 elections.
If you are against this move, let's speak out. We bloggers have proven not just once that we can make a difference. This is another avenue for us to help our country.

i am actually open to cha-cha, as this may lead to a better Philippines but as you have said, let them do it after the 2010 elections. why rush now? bakit gusto ipilit ngayon? why is they pass it just minutes before the congress will take a long brak?
anyone can answer that: there's a hidden agenda. that's why these congressmen are gigil to push this con-ass!

Agree. If they want to really make the laws better, then they should do it after the elctions. Doing this right now gives the impression that they want something for their own.
conass is outright stupid, and the congressmen are outright shameless. they know we know there's something fishy going on, otherwise why prioritize this when there are more urgent concerns?
maybe we can make our protest in blogs. but if worse comes to worst, we really need warm bodies voicing concerns. i hate mob rule, but what choice do we have?
well, with the same rotten system in place, what can we expect...? it's another case of "same old, same old"
