We all know this is not just between Apple and Samsung. Google is a very, very important player in this war.  That being said, I'm sure you know where I stand. Hehehe. Let me share a portion from a ZDNET article:

Highway 54

I remember a friend of mine having this funny experience. Her boss asked the team if any of them has a smartphone he can borrow. So this guy took his Blackberry and showed it to the boss, "Here!"

The boss looked at him, then, to the other members of the team: Anyone has a SMARTER phone?

Hehehe. It's really amazing how fast technology has improved in the last couple of years. A few years back, only a few people (notably scientists and tech researchers) have access to touchscreeen technology. During that time, audio and web conferencing is more like a myth than a regular thing that we do now. A couple of years after Apple started its iDevices revolution, user experience became the standard in mainstream mobile technology. (Android revolution of course is not after the user experience... it's more into finding the limitations of a system or device an breaking them. Oh yeah this is a biased post. Hehehe.)

Anyway, as I was saying, technology has gone so fast that the once-pioneer BlackBerry is now considered not-so pioneer. :-) It was qwerty keyboard before. Now, it's touch screen and voice recognition. Truth is, I won't be surprised if Google announced a higher version of Android, "Android 5.0: Now with ESP".

I remember having a debate with one of my friends regarding Apple iDevices and Android phones. I was so passionate in saying Android is so much better in all aspects than any iDevices you can think of. I said Android is so much more awesome because it offers free apps way better than Apple's offering. Everything about iPhone 4S, I said, was alreday a late offering -- Siri, iCloud, etc. The apps in the Android Market are more relevant, more advanced, more practical than in Apple Store. If the Internet is the wheel that turns this digital revolution, then, Android apps are the industrial bearings that ensure smooth revolution of the wheel.

iPhone fanboys (and girls) claim it is the user experience that actually matters. I said, user-what???

And then, a couple of weeks ago, I got to use an iPad and an iPhone for a few hours...

My world changed.

Planning to buy a new phone. Help?

OK, I've been suffering (what a big word for my trivial problem) so much from my current phone. The ear piece is just so damaged... and the reception is really dull (and I think it has nothing to do with the network). My original plan is to wait for my lock-in period to lapse so I can have a new phone for free, but when I asked the network's CSR, they told me I can only have a new phone by December. Shucks.

So, I've been spending hours and hours of Internet surfing time to find a new phone to buy, and finally, I got one.

Along with the phone itself you'll also get a thin ostrich foot leather wallet large enough to accommodate up to 4 credit cards. Only 50 units of the iPhone 4 Diamond Edition will be produced and sold worldwide and each will cost 13 000 GBP (around 20 000 US dollars).
